Here, we share the latest stories from our camps in Costa Rica, celebrate answered prayers, and keep you informed about upcoming projects. Our ministry is a family, and we want you to feel connected to the lives you are helping to change.
This update celebrates how God has faithfully built and sustained La Montaña Christian Camps through the prayers, service, and generosity of many people. It highlights the current leadership team and staff, encouraging others to pray for their strength, wisdom, and protection. The ministry expresses gratitude for ongoing support, which has helped reach over 225,000 campers with the gospel.
We want to add a 4 more camper cabins with internal bathrooms to increase our lower campus capacity from 320-400 campers! This will complete the Master Plan for the lower camp and will add to the increasing demand for more capacity.
The La Montaña family is growing and we want to provide a more permanent housing option for them as they grow their family! These 2X1 and 3X2 homes will house our full-time married staff. Our goal is to build the infrastructure first and then build the homes as money comes in.
We plan to add a roofed Gymnasium, a new 500-seat Victory Circle and fire pit; a Snack Shack with a small dining room loft and a 5 more small group “Ranchitos”. These improvements will allow us to expand our one-day camp offerings as well as our planned outdoor education ministry.
